Welcome to the Masquerade! This is the OOC Intro Post for KiLLKiSS Round 1.

The game is set to launch on April 13th. In the lead up to the game's opening, we encourage all players to use this post to introduce themselves and tell us as much (or as little!) about their character as they like. Use this post to exchange contact details, timezones or anything else you'd like to share with your fellow players in advance of the game opening.

i am bringing in miya tougo (known here as Maledictis the Joyous), a nice but quiet girl from Death Match Love Comedy (DMLC) which is a romcom thriller visual novel about a boy who will literally explode if he gets confessed to by anyone. she joins in on the effort to uncurse him, but it quickly becomes apparent that she had an already existing connection to the supernatural and an ulterior motive to her help...

she also appears as a 4 year old in the prequel novel, raging loop! like so.

what's UP, killkiss nation!! I'm Claire (she/they/it) and I'm here because Lilith once said to me "an ave mujica mudergame might kick ass actually" and I spent the entirety of the following work shift in a fugue state while putting together a preliminary concept mod doc. Most of you will probably know me from various other murdergames around the circuit - most recently, I've played in rounds 3, 4, 6 and 7 of We Could Be and have been on the mod team since Round 7 onwards.

I'm one half of the KiLLKiSS mod team and while I don't have a mod PC this round, I will be doing hosting duties as Oblivionis the Glorious, your gracious and courteous host. I'm sure she'll get along just fine with everybody. :)

KiLLKiSS is a project me and Lilith have been working on for what feels like forever now so gearing up for game launch feels really surreal lol. Thank you again for the crazy turnout at reserves and I hope we're able to give back even a tenth of the energy and enthusiasm you've already shown us!

good afternoon, gamers!!! i'm lilith (she/it), most of you know me but some of you i'm meeting for the first time. this whole thing's kind of my fault, and i'm not apologizing. i've been in rosenblum hall, let's play a murder, and we could be round 7. i form the other half of KiLLKiSS's mod team along with claire, and while i don't have primary hosting duties in this round, i will be putting in work behind the scenes and for investigations, trials, and a lot of other fun stuff you'll just have to wait and see about.

Shrenne is relegated in canon as a sacrificial lamb essentially to torment that Canto's titular antagonist with but I am insane so I am obsessed with her and I hope you will like her too!

i play my lovely daughter, shisui from the apothecary diaries! she is known as libertatis the refined in this dollhouse, a fun duality that serves her character really well. refinement and freedom don't often go together and yet here she is. her life till now has been. well. hell. similar to maomao, she's been caught up in a bunch of court as well as familial trouble and now i send her into this dollhouse. she's also our friendly neighbourhood insect lover- it might take a while, but at some point she's going to start infodumping whatever she knows about them.

Headpats For Your Red Sovereign

Hey Shad here! 27, they/them, contactable at shadowhope discord/PM/shadowhope. Some of you played with me over half a decade ago in Airlocked! I’m happy to be with you again on my first Murdergame since my return. Let’s have a stellar time!

I’m bringing in Riddle Rosehearts under the name Furiosis The Obedient, He Who Does Not Fear Madness. A killer name from the mods for sure! A 5’3 ball of rage contained and directed at rule enforcement, he is likely going to be jumping straight to enforcement of Obby’s general rules to prevent any rule deaths. He is a Housewarden in his canon of the Heartslabyul dorm at Disney Magical College. He is based on the Queen of Hearts and his canonmates other villains. All their dorms are their origin movies.

Anyway, point is that Riddle was pre-character development an unreasonable tyrant. So he is likely to try and hijack leadership and implement a form of authoritarian rule. It will be better than he was in canon due to lack of certain… past traumas and rules in his memory. But is definitely going to earn negative CR if successful. I highly encourage it with him, he needs people to push his buttons and back against him until character development kicks in again.

Riddle at his core is an extremely misguided teenager who wants to do good on his perceived duties to others. Unfortunately he has had zero good adult influences in his life. Please scruff him and found family him so hard he doesn’t know what hit him.

Law, Justice, Mommy. Can’t wait for things to kickoff.

Also, for those not in the discord yet, we have memed our way into me making a Transition Double Reacharound Pact with Grey. I am genuinely looking forward to Riddle discovering She/Her pronouns and fixing Obby’s cast ratio to 2:1. Only for Audrey to discover nonbinary identity and turn the ratio into 15:8:1.

Hello, party people! Some of you have known me for like nine years and some of you just met me via discord introductions a week ago, but either way—my name's Leah and I'm so excited to be returning to the murder hustle with what is possibly the number one babygirl of all time. I've been in a lot of mass-ex games over the years, most recently Rosenblum and Let's Play a Murder, and I've played a whole stable of dickheads therein. Here's one more!

Evangeline Morgan, Esquire (nobody ever uses the first name, don't worry about it) is a criminal defense attorney who hails from the not-so-far-flung year of 2086, where the cyberpunk dystopia sure is cyberpunk dystopiaing! In a hyper-surveillance state where getting away with unorganized crime is vanishingly unlikely, anyone who chooses to take on the state as a job has to thrive on high-risk, low-odds situations, and that's exactly what she does. A gambler with an anti-authoritarian streak and a remarkable poker face, Morgan revels in taking the House on and raking in the pot right under their noses—in the extremely rare case where she actually wins against the ADA she's super normal about. They call it Toxic Yuri Ace Attorney for a reason. Here, she's Fortis the Heartbroken. No comment!

Of the Devil is a relatively new game with a small (but feral, hello it's me) fanbase, and while I strongly encourage the general you to play it, I cannot lie: it's gonna be really fun to use the fact that it's obscure and ongoing to blindside people. As such, I'll be keeping mum on a lot of details until they unfold naturally and marking for spoilers, and I appreciate the canon-familiar's discretion in advance! Morgan's writing is soooooooooo important to me and there are many personal blind spots (absolute dogshit at math) that I worry will impact this portrayal, and if you've got any opinions on that you can absolutely hit up the permissions post as an HMD! You can also, of course, opt out of interaction with me or Morgan entirely if you so choose.

Hi! I'm Chai! I've been involved in dreamwidth murdergames for about six years now, and funnily enough, I'm doing a reprise of the first character I ever played in a murdergame: Barry from Barry. He's a depressed hitman who tries to change his career towards acting and the transition has a body count. But it's a comedy! That said it is a dark comedy that comes with several trigger warnings to do with Barry himself so if anything on my permissions looks like a topic you'd rather not engage with, just let me know!

HI THERE FOLKS! I'm Ashley (she/it) and I am playing Yukio Oikawa from Digimon Adventure 02! I've been around the murdergame scene for. A very long time. If you've done mass execution games (Dangan Roleplay, Trustfell, Foolish Mortals, WCB, Rosenblum of which i am a helper mod dear god i've done this too much) you have probably played with me, but I was most likely playing either a teenage girl or young adult woman with a lot of problems. This is a break from form, but sometimes you love an old* gay man from your childhood SO much.

Here he will be Tenebris the Transcendent, He Who Does Not Fear Darkness, which I feel totally and utterly normal about!! He's a very anti-social sort but I am looking forward to forcing him to get involved. Unlike most of my characters he doesn't have A LOT of warnings associated with him, but still, here's my permissions to take a look at. I'll note here that I'm largely playing with English localization and terms, taking into account some parts of the sub but leaning towards what I am more familiar with. So, for those familiar, digivolve instead of evolve, Arukenimon instead of Archnemon, etc. It won't change that much, especially with full memloss, but still, just as an aside.

For your murdering enjoyment I am bringing in Tsukasa Tojo, from the Key VN/gacha RPG hybrid Heaven Burns Red, who is on record as very much preferring not to be brought anywhere for anyone's murdering enjoyment but oops she doesn't actually get a vote. She is a self-described elite intelligence agent, a member of a special anti-alien-invasion military unit called the Seraph Squadron, and the keyboardist for rock band She Is Legend... and her character page on TV Tropes lists five different tropes that are variations on "she's an idiot," so don't get your hopes up too much about any of that. Well, except the music part. They're pretty good at that.

Here in the dollhouse she'll be known as Heredis, the Blissful, and her memory loss will fortunately shield us from some of the massive array of content warnings that she includes because she's a main character in a game with a big cast of people who each have their own distinct tragic backstory and then new tragic backstories are also happening in the present.
